Meet The Soundtrack To Your Social Media

Several weeks ago I was approached by the Chicago-born creators of Nusiki, a new app that streamlines the music sharing process. After chatting a bit more with them, we published a nice little feature about their product on Choose Chicago. Read it here.

#TBT Sunday

A part of me will always be a pop-punk-loving teen from the ‘burbs so I thought, why not indulge that facet of myself and take the opportunity to chat with Taking Back Sunday’s frontman Adam Lazzara.

Smart Bar, which has always been at the forefront of representing all corners of dance music, is introducing a new series in March. East Room is throwing him a send off party tonight (which I’ll likely dance too hard at) but before that I chatted with Ponce about his work and Grammy noms.

A Return To The Congress

Yes, I spent many nights at the Congress Theater back in the day. It was poorly run, overdue for a deep cleaning and lawless. But it still somehow always pulled in great shows.
